For Trade: My 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Base. . .

$17,500 or trade for bikes described below.

700 miles, first service scheduled but not completed.

SpeedyMoto front and rear axle sliders.

Corse mirror block off plates and original mirrors.

Also, a complete but uninstalled Tankslapper body protection kit comes with the bike.

No dents, falls, issues, recalls, fires or problems of any sort. I cannot find any fault with the bike: it is light and nimble and handles like a lightweight. The electronics actually work and make riding the bike on the street or track almost easy, if riding a 180 HP bike can ever be described as easy. My guess is that 50% of my riding has been on wet mode, but hey, I'm 57 and brittle.

I bought the bike to do a little street riding and trackdays, but this thing is so fast that it scares me. Personally, I'd rather have a second generation SV or a single cylinder race bike to run track days with. So, I will accept those types of bikes in trade, and perhaps a cherry, very low mileage 2009+ Aprilia 550/450 SXV. A 2010 KTM 690 Duke is not out of the question either. Update: Also interested in a Triumph 675R.

Will also consider trades on cherry street bikes with clear titles that I can sell quickly.

Bike is located in my garage in suburban Buffalo. There is a lien on the bike because I financed it through my credit union, but I've made friends with the loan officer. You may be able to get 2.99% financing with excellent credit and 4.99% with good credit.

Update:

I've got about 925 miles on her now.

Other trade possibilites: I rode a friends Triumph 675R that seemed very slow by comparision, but felt very comfortable to me in terms of power and handling. I'd take one of these on trade too.

Hey Charlie Foxtrot,

Entertain this for me. I have a 2008 Aprilia Bol d'Or RSV1000R that is showroom condition, completely stock. The ergonomics are quite good for a sportbike. Has a three year manufacturer's warranty. It is a special edition- only 200 created. Has 3400 miles on the clock. No scratches, dents, or dings. Super clean.

I am in the same age bracket as you and know the pain you speak of. However i am addicted to Ducati's!! I have a Fila Edition 999R as well and the ride is worth the pain. I plan to have a Panigale someday soon.

My offer is the Aprilia and $7500 for your bike.

Got a recall letter, but it seems that only the front brake hose recall is my bike's only issue.

Still thinking about getting a track only bike, so trades will be considered.

It's a 2007 with 8700 miles. All the services and recalls have been done and I have records for everything. It's not a track bike but already has vortex rearsets & Ducati ECU/Termi's. Just let me know, no rush on my end.
