I went with the Silver Rizoma pegs and love 'em. Huge improvement over stock.

Rizoma ones work with the streetfighter/1198 type of adapters 712 as posted above. Oberon has some decent footpegs but I believe they are slightly longer so you should see if you can get the shorter oberons. But between the two, the Rizoma's work fine and are great outside of acquiring the entire rear set.

Has anyone ordered some grippy pegs from the UK yet? if so, where from and did you order them for a streetfigher? Do they fit on the Pani? Cheers... |

We have these LSL pegs that fit the Panigale, both a longer/thinner peg as well as the "shorty" style racing peg. We put them on our demo model Panigale because everyone complained that the stock pegs were slippery! Link: LSL Panigale Pegs |

+1 on the DP rear sets being worth the wait. I installed them on my bike and am quite happy with them. Much grippier, very adjustable, and the position of them and the slight change in foot guard position give it a better look IMO. http://ducati1199.com/attachment.php...1&d=1344376089 http://ducati1199.com/attachment.php...1&d=1344376089 Both positions are higher than stock, so I am kind of curious as to what the standard position is that CaliDuc is referring to. The have a high and low position and while the install instructions say "for your convenience they have been set to the high position", I received my rearsets with the left peg in the high position and the right peg in the low position. Anyway the only negative thing I can say is that in the low position I could not adjust the shifter to be angled far enough down to my liking, closer to stock. Interference in the mechanisms prevented that adjustment, but in a purely race config its probably ideal. Take a look at the left rearset pic and you see that its a low as it would go in the low position. Pointed any lower and positive down shifts would not be possible. Otherwise they are great. I wear a size 14, so the adjustable shifter length was the best feature to me. The brake pedal had a few adjustments that were handy and I was able to get a little more feel from it than stock with a lot less spring tension to boot. All the hardware was pretty loose on them so dont forget to use loctite if you install them yourself. |

I noted that the hardware was loose however do you believe loctite should be applied ;-) As I have mentioned elsewhere I would recommend getting the DP billet leavers with the DP rears set as they are clearly a pair and feel so good. I respect that some would not agree with me and have different tastes, however I have pretty much wanted to maintain the 'Ducati Official Designer's intent' and as such I have rarely strayed from that path. Again, just *my own personal preference* and not one that is any better than anyone else's. | |
