Gilles Rearsets - Update

I've recevied an update from Giles Tooling this week on the production of rearsets for the 1199.

They have quoted approx 3 weeks to start production of the FXR rearsets. Looking at there website I'm guessing they mean the Factor-x-rearset:

gilles.tooling - Products - factor-x-rearset.gt

Performance Parts Ltd are the UK distributor and hopefully will be sending me updates as more details are made available.

That's great news, Ive used them on just about all my sport bikes, they make a great product, as a matter of fact they are part of the BMW accessory catalog for the S1000RR, there so called Motorrad rear-sets are made by Gilles...

Ducati Performance ones are available now.
Received mine the day before yesterday and still waiting for time to fit them!!!

I'd drop Gilles an email via their contact form and hopefully they'll be able to give you a definitive answer.

Rumours had it, that it's out now. In fact it seems so...

gilles.tooling - Products - rearset FXR aluminium-raw (FXR-D02-N) - description

It works with GP and standard shifting pattern, they say. From the technical point of view brilliant, if all was true, but why don't they make their own heel guards?

they are available now....I've spoke to rep in Oz

It does not mention compatibility with DQS?

Yep these are the ones I've been waiting for at last, same ones I had on my S1000RR, mega grippy, look good cheaper than the rest and you can put the carbon DP heel guards, what more could one ask for??
