My beautiful 1199 ABS needs slip ons but I am wondering if anyone will be making them in carbon? Arrow, FBF, Termi, anyone?? Just curious because I want the "deeper sound" of the Termi's but I would like something other than stainless...

i got an original in spare, might gonna core it out... no 2 k for the termis. performance wise not the smartest, i know, as there's no specific map then... also thinking about blackening the brushed aluminum covers... let the mood decide. |

Guys, this may change, but in an interview with Domencelli and the Ducati designers they said Carbon mufflers could not be made to withstand the loads and heat of the undercount exhausts, they also had trouble with Titanium, so I think you will find it is the Termis "type" for a while yet. Cheers |

I already thought of replacing the brushed aluminum with a Carbon piece, but i estimate the temperatures to go up there, that there will only be a few resins to keep up... Guess the best choice will be going with akra, leoVince, ... |

What the hell . This has to be fake! They could have easily made the exhaust more stylish then that. For example, why would't they shape it like this?![]() I'm having a hard time to believe that Ducati's Italian chauvinism for the bike would let them do such a thing... |

Interesting to see they have a cover that goes up to the rear cylinder. That will be a heat issue then. It's definatley the rear cylinder not the exhaust that is causing the majoity of the heat issues I reckon. Back on thread, that the worst exhaust I have ever seen, it's not released April 1st is it? |
