Termi may have been first, but Akra might have done it better - those are some serious diameters on those pipes - and titanium! Just what the Dr ordered.

I'm curious on how loud they are. They say they are good for FIM regulations. Does anybody know how much decibel that is?

Looking at those photos of the red hot exhaust pipes, in particularly at the rear, just screams 'design flawed'.

Ducati have reached the limits of that design.

Best of luck with trying to improve a mission impossible.
To spend 4k is your choice.
From our experience, its not possible to get any value.
But then its all about the hype.

The noise is the major part of the hype, just ask HD, they make their living out of it.

Ever see the pipes/manifolds on a stationary MotoGP bike, or F40, F50, Enzo, F430, F458 being run in.... I guess they all have design flaws..

I would imagine they are testing other variables and system longevity.

If i misunderstood your post, I apologize.

Blue Bear.... Weight reduction, seriously? On a road bike, would any difference be noticeable?, this is by far the lightest bike in its class, I doubt a kilo here or there will make any difference.

Remember, this pipe and mufflers has to withstand a lot, and Termi worked with Ducati from Day one, good luck to any other system.

As I have said in the past, you don't have much room to work with here. I would think you would have to follow the same path, so other then making the pipes in Ti because that is what some people demand, and maybe CF or Ti cans, what more could one do to get noticible HP gains.

Kilo is a kilo. Its choice for ppl to spend on extras which no company is doin ti but akra or what they state. Same thing as carbonfiber parts. Most of it is useless in crashes but more for looks and weight savings. People will spend the extra dolllar even if it made slight difference. So yes im serious! Im all for Ti
