what SoonerNation did is probably best. i will change mine to this solution.
a extra rubberstrap will damp vibrations
ecellent idea SoonerNation!
Vibration is not a problem. The adhesive thickness seems to dampen it.

Here are some pics of the Adaptiv Mount (the last pic shows the mount with my Escort Redline and Marc Parnes Visual Alert).

What Ram stem mount is that...? Looks good and better than the Allen key one if managed to fit but sticks out too far! How much and from where did you get this one?

Thanks

This is how my GoPro is mounted, offers very good forward veiw and dash (Exact same as "SoonerNation"). I also use suction cup directly on the windsheild with cam facing back at me with very little vibration. Sooner, Id like to see a vid with your set up.

Vibration is terrible tho, same mount on my 1198 was considerably less vibration. Afterall, everything is bolted to the damn engine so what can I expect.

I will post some street riding vids of this set up.

It's from a company called Adaptiv...you may have heard of the radar detector they make for bikes. I don't use their radar detector, but their mounts are awesome...I have one on each of my bikes. Cost is US$95...not sure if they ship to the UK...but I would guess they do...their customer service is great...call and ask for Wayne. Here is a link:

I've tried lots of different mounts on my bikes...and I highly recommend this one. You can't tell from the pic, but the mount uses a couple of ball bearings that make the mount adjustable to just about any angle you want.

I hope you get your radar set-up before you get a ticket. I can't ride without radar (feel naked) and literally had mine set-up before I rode out of the dealer. Cheers.

Do you have some videos yet Ducenzo?

I have bought a ContourHD mount today and I'm afraid the vibration may cause bad videos to. I'm testing it in the track tommorrow.
