Chaps, Maybe it's years of Ducati riding. Maybe I have got used to the chicken dance to look behind me. Maybe the new mirror stalks are so long that the things just vibrate too much to see anything anyway. Maybe I still just see my elbows when I ride. But, as they look awful, can someone please make some smaller mirrors? I would love to ditch mine but I use it on the street and need mirrors. What was wrong with the old style ones that were nice and small? Not that keen on the Oberon bar end mirrors before everyone responds with that option. Can't we have a short-stem smaller mirror please? The bike is a looker as it is, spoiled by the hideous mirrors and tail unit. Thankfully the tail tidies started appearing before the bikes - but still no alternate mirrors. |

It's funny, but this is the first set of stock mirrors on any of my ducs that I could actually see more than my elbows!

I'm with you on this. they aren't the worst, but aren't the best either... I bought the corse dynamics deletes and going to fix small LED signals to them. I'm 6ft 200 lbs and the mirrors are only about 25% useful. I still out of habit look over my shoulders to be sure. i know you aren't interested, but for now i'm going use CRG bar ends until someone comes out with something else. i like signals and mirrors, but for my build and posture, the stock don't offer much. I've got crg arrows on my streetfighter and those are quite nice, not sure how they'd look on a pani tho. Quote:

I have been looking thru all my old orders and emails trying to find out where I bought these!!!!! I bought them for my 1198 Corse and they were so damned slimline and sleek looking that I would love a set of them on my Tri. For some reason I think they were a DP product but can't be certain since I cant find anything I had on them! If I find it then I will edit the post. This was them..... PS. For those of you who upload pics and often wait forever for it to show up as officially uploaded, I find that if you click "upload" and then just go back and select same pic again, hitting upload- it actually pops right on as done. Make sense or did I just lose you (and possibly myself) Just do it twice thats all. |

Hey thanks alot Chris! I cant recall yesterday let alone remember where I got them from. Yeah I think you are right, they wont fit the 99's which is a shame. I beleieve we will start to see TONS of 99 accessories and parts rolling out this fall. Usually they are quicker on this sort of stuff man. Nice grab on that one Zvez, many thanks! |
