CF parts FYI

Just thought I'd share a decent find. Not sure of the quality. I wish more of the products were matte, especially the Carbonvani front tail section.

Both the carbonvani and cdt can be purchased in glossy or matte finish. I currently have a major order of their stuff en route and am going to clear all my DP stuff. If anyone had the front fender or rear hugger in glossy I'd be more than willing to trade mine out with them. I absolutely dislike the matte finish and wish they had given Tri owners the choice of finish for buying the flagship model. To each their own.

Wow good to know you have your choice with their products. I really like the matte as it's a little different from what I've bought in the past (mostly shiftech gloss stuff).

wonder what the weight savings for the CF whole street set would be. If it anything like 40 pounds ill buy it. Highly doubt it. More like 10

I painted mine gloss laquer and they came out great. Not good enough for a trade because there are 2 drip spots that I was to lazy to sand and repaint. All in all they look much better than the stock matte. I can post pics if you want to see.

You cleared your own carbon man? Brave. I am sending mine to an old buddy who does serious custom paintwork on Ducati's and won hundreds of awards in shows. He has all sorts of ideas in mind with ghost images under the clear and hand painted logos etc. If you want him to wet sand the shit outta yours and make it like glass lemme know. I already hooked up one member here to do a set of sharskins in Rossi or Hayden replica, not sure what he chose yet.

Get me a quote for the rear hugger and Front fender - the rear is holding a lot of shit from the road due the heat from the exhaust softening the laquer. If you could PM me that would be great.

Thanks
