Sorry to clog up the forum with photos of the DP rear sets however I got asked to post a couple of "fitted" piccies. Just so you know the DP rear sets have TWO fittings ; (1) Standard and (2) GP which is actually for reverse gearing. I have done about 255 miles in a day with them on, I love them. Much better grip than the stock ones, look excellent and less foot and wrist ache. Highly recommend them. Side note : Very much enjoyed the Ducati Performance booth at MotoGP Leguna Seca. XBox, thanks mate. Yesterday, I had a good chat with the Ducati NA manager for Ducati Performance. They are based about 10 mins away from my home. MrMaloo32, The Rear Sets have plenty of rubber on both sets and that really helps. WAFatBoy, In regards to the "foot and wrist ache", I *personally* found that I started suffering from wrist and foot ache after 15 miles on the standard foot pegs. I am 5' 9" and in good shape. However, when I put the rear sets on I found that my feet were in a more comfortable position (standard DP rear set setting) and I suffered *NO* wrist ache .. even after 126+ miles. I thus assume that this is due to weight and positioning. The DP Rear Sets along with the Billet levers give a real nice "tight" feel. Just my opinion, I am not stating this as fact for anyone else. |

CaliDuc. it is a very nice piece and a big difference from stock. i have the same one you got. did you have to change the ROD Spacer? i know the DP rearset came with it? also did your DQS still works?

They look great. Nice to see your brake fluid looks like tar too! So does mine and the back brake has become a bit spongy. Needs a heat shield I reckon. |

WAFatBoy, My pleasure. Ian718, Alas I did not personally fit the rear sets my dealer did. I will need to check the DQS .. I am pretty much old school with the clutch ;-) Andy1199, I noted the back brakes are a little spongy, I actually like that !! Heat shield on the brakes is actually a very good idea. |

I've never owned after market rearsets. For 1k I can't justify it for the bike either. Going to have my oem rearsets and a few other goodies powder coated in the near future.
