Dumb triangle cover on left lost!

Anyone else lose that small cover on the left side covering the front nut on the rear suspension? I lost mine at the track this past weekend. Guessing I hit it moving around on the bike within the turns or at high speed wind.
Either way, what is this going to cost me...$100? I hated that cover before the track day, now I'm really annoyed by it. Terrible design on Duc's part.

I lost mine on a ride, the dealer told me they have had multiple people lose them, it was only $14 but still waiting for it to show

Glad it's cheap. Might be a dozen of them! Or just super glue the piece back in.

Just checked on how it's held in, not by much, there are two points on the upper side that have a notch to keep it in the lower section is just a tab. I could see how this easily gets lost if it gets bumped.

I lost one too. $22 in Australia. It came off in the first few weeks somewhere.

Could be. But only the protective cover of the cable is looped through and doesn't touch the plastic cover. Even before the service tech routed the cable like that the plastic almost fell off twice. I just should have watched it more closely. Either way...it's a bad design.

It would help if somebody who has "the triangle" could post a picture of it.

Thank you.

It's the triangle shaped trim piece covering the front of the shock. If you pull on it, it comes right off.

Thanks for the post.. I found out mine are loose too. Getting some double side tape to safe the piece before it flew off.

I didnt know!

Well knock me down with a feather,I wish I knew that "V piece" came off. I struggled to wind my preload off a bit while trying not to scrape this piece with the tool. thought it was all part of the fairing. I think i"m the tool here now lol

Mine fell off at the track while I was waiting for them to let us on but someone pointed it out on the ground luckily, put it back on and have not lost it yet.
