Had the DDA installed on my Panagale this morning. When I got home I went to the website on the back of the box as directed. It wanted a username and password or, that failing, one could register. Apparently I registered something, somewhere, associated with Prosa, but I couldn't remember that username and password ( I tried using the ones I usually use for such sites). The site offered to send temp password, but didn't after a half-hour. I then tried to re-register, but it recognized my email and wouldn't allow as that email was "in use". I tried to register with bogus email to see if I could then re-register, but the new password would be sent to the (bogus) address, so that wouldn't work. I called Ducati NA but the person who the receptionist thought would have the answer, wouldn't answer the phone. Left contact info with receptionist. What's the point of all the barriers to getting the software to operate the DDA? Do I really have to open another email account just to get the software for the DDA? It's not like the software would be of use to anyone other than those who already own the DDA, so why make it difficult? |

Yeah, it's kind of retarded, there's nothing on there that should be proprietary since you can't use it if you don't have the device anyway. I'll PM you a link to download the software installation file.

Is this a plug & play? Do we need to take this in to be installed?

I too bought a DDA kit recently. I installed it myself if you have questions. I have already tried registering on the PROSA site and have waited for at least a week with no response. I even tried registering multiple email addresses under multiple domains to see if maybe one of them was blocking their emails or not getting through otherwise. Anybody know what is the deal with them? Can the link to the software just be posted here? Or can someone who now has it send me a PM so I can get it please? |

Downloaded the software and used DDA for the first time today. There are a few glitches in it but it is a pretty cool gadget.
