At first I thought the same, but now after seeing some of it on I think it would be to much carbon.

I will put up a comparision of the parts and weight differences...so far the biggest difference on 1 of the smaller parts was 15g.

Thanks Cali.....Hahaha now you ask just after I took it all apart again, but no worries when I have sorted it all out I will do a final shoot as Carbonvani has asked for some of the bike completely carboned out.

By the way I liked your Rizoma's. I just picked up the Silver ones and will work on them tonight......was it much trouble fitting them ??

If you upload your original photos to the photo section of your member area they will display in a much higher resolution ( like what you see when you click the link at the foot of my posts ).

Re : Rizoma Fluid tanks. I just uploaded some better pictures. The Fluid tanks (of which I have three) are a royal PITA to install. Make sure you have the correct Rizoma brackets for these tanks. You will need to bleed your brakes and pay particular attention to the ABS system.

Cheers for that Cali, yes I saw all the pics. Looking good !!....Did you have to change the fluid tubes or do the original's fit ??
Yeah I have 3 to do as well.....if I dont have to change the tubes I will just pinch them closed and then squeeze the air bubble into the tanks and pray I dont get it wrong

RE the pics....I took those last lot of pics with my point and shoot, but I will do the other shots with the Nikon and then put them up as they will look way better.
Some of those parts are now off to the painters to have the black tint done on them. I also have the battery carrier and the wiring harness's being done, definetly didnt want to pull all that apart just to see if they fitted

You should use the tubes that come with the Rizoma brackets (which are designed specifically for the Panigale).

Fitting the Rizomas is a bitch. The ABS makes things complicated and you have to bleed the system in order. Your obviously a skilled Tech Wrench, however, for this job I would suggest that you consult with a Ducati Tech - honestly it is a little more involved than squeezing the air bubbles out of pipes. It is a lot easier on an 1199 which is a BASE with NO ABS, Hence fitting on a Tricolore or an S with ABS requires skill. Your call mate.

Thanks Cali, much appreciated....I was being a bit lazy when I said about the air bubbles, but I know what you mean, I have been chatting with the guy's about this for awhile now.......fingers crossed all will be good.
My clip ons should arrive in the next few days, so I will attack it all then when the bike is in more pieces.

STW....All is going well, I still have lots to do as I need all the small parts Black tinted before I can put the bike together with all the carbon and then it is off to the painters to work out the final design with the carbon on.

I have just recieved my Rapid Bike module and MWR airfilter but I wont put these on until the bike is ready for fitting after painting.

Also here are some pics of the first lot of NCR titanium gear to arrive.
This stuff is absolutely stunning and I was lucky enough to be included in getting a front wheel nut in Ti as these were only made for 4 bikes.
The gas cap is by far one of the best I have ever seen and beautifully made.
The rear wheels nuts look awesome with the BST rims and I think will also look awesome with the full Titanium, magnesium sprocket carrier from AEM which should be here in about 2 weeks.


I am still waiting on the rearsets and triple clamps to come, plus some titanium engine mods when they are finished.

So slowly but surely it is coming together.......how I miss riding this bike, but I needed a break as I was starting to get into throw away the license speeds on the road and I wanted it all finished before heading off to the track to cure the speeding addiction

I can tell from these that they are not going to be any different and there isnt much adjustability.
No worries GC. I am estimating that by the time I have all the engine work done and possibly a heap of other changes it will come to around $30,000, maybe more. I wont really know until it is finished.

After waiting months for AEM to get their Hub and sprocket carrier made for the Pani, it has finally arrived and when you really dont know what something actually looks like until it is in the mitt, all I can say is it is awesome.

Parts are Titanium, Magnesium and Aluminium, with the wheel nut from NCR in Titanium.

Now I can finally put the BST wheels on and the RK chain
