Rear fork will be the swing arm. Cable is for the dreaded exhaust valve which I no longer have.
Pretty normal stuff, I had similar with my BMW s1000 RR
Safety first I guess, no big deal.

Cheers

Mine is for its 1st service yesterday and had to take another bike back as there is a lot to do... there is a 72 page document that has been issued by Ducati listing all of the changes and modifications that need to be made... I will do my best to get that document and post for all to read and review.....

It is all of what "joshinthecity" has listed and more..... Let me get that document and post if I can......

Will keep you all posted.....

Hmmm I have mine booked in, just waiting on parts arrival, told it would take about 1.5 hours.

Talked with Craig McMartin ( Aust Service and Warrnty Mgr) he said it was no big deal, precautionary only. I would not be concerned.

Cheers

So got my bike back yesterday and I asked for the info... they have strict procedures and stated that this is "internal information"..... however I should have something very soon.......

All of the items are listed as stated here before and when taking your bikes in or talking with the friendlies then ask them for the "security update" detail that is what is classified as within their systems......

A lot of tightening......some changes and most important is the real axle lubrication and (chain adjustment area) which was not done well enough in the "0 series".....

Again as soon as I get the info (in hand) I will post so we can all benefit from this !!!

got my letter the other day and went into my dealership today. Informed me that (from my vin) that mine was a simple job would take no time what so every. Have it book in Monday. Shame i didn't come down with the bike as they said they could do it on the spot then

From what i can gather mine will be

Front Brake Reservoir Connecting Tubes: After extended rubbing against the reservoir retaining screw, the connection tube could wear out and produce a slight fluid leak.

and maybe

Steering Damper Retaining Screws and Ball Joint: Under extreme conditions and after heavy wear, the steering damper may come loose.

Also got my letter informing me that my bike requires the installation of an "upgrade kit". Was booked in for my 1000k service anyway so the timing was right. I'll see if I can get any inside info. Ideally, I would love to get their entire checklist.
