But add in state FED and property and we are the overall losers!!

We are all getting F'ed on a daily basis. Thank goodness we can still have enough for toys to take our minds off of that...now about that extended warranty; is there a certain time we need to do this by?
I had one on my R1 (factory 4 years)
+1. Agreed. I love the R1.

Nope...you can pay for it now or a day before it expires and it will be the same price....with who I use

got 5 additional years, making total warranty out to 7 years, the extended warranty contract suppose to extend the exact same coverage as the first 2 years of factory warranty, all work done at any authorized ducati service center

If you can pay for it on the very last day, may as well wait until that day arrives. I might consider it...see how the first two years go.

Depending on how much, might be worth it. Off the top of my head, ballpark swag, I would say this is worth about $300 tops.

No longer available. Was not available at the time Panigales were released to the market. Could not be bought for the Panigale.

Do a Google search on the term Ducati EverRed and click on the first result

I thought you meant period...they still have open warranties they are handling on previous years....either way...the one I purchase is always better than the Ducati one anyway....dealership told me not to mess with the extended factory warranty....I never had an issue with any of my claims on my 1098 which was 4 total

Since the bike comes with a two year factory warranty and I dont really keep bikes for longer than two years I did not get the extended warranty. But I did buy the extended Wheel and Tire warranty from the dealer for two years for $250. It replaces up to 2 tires and 2 wheels per each year of warranty coverage. If you get a nail in the tire and the warranty replaces it than it just paid for itself. Same if you hit a bad pothole and bend a wheel. Its well worth it, I had it on my 1198 too and used it twice.
