Broken Mirror Steem

Hi Fellow Dukers,

I have had my 1199 now for a month and turned up 2,500 k's over some of NSW's well known roads with great results.

However recently during a regular wash and wipe over, I have caught the left mirror with my arm and it slapped clean off at the turn point near the Fairing Mount.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows of this happening to anyone else, as Ducati have not seen it before?

My right mirror moves in both directions without any problem and so I am a bit confused on why the left just broke.

Hasn't happened to me but I did lose the little plastic cap that fits on the turning point.

If you still have your's, wanna sell it?
