Lucky you that there was no car on the other side.

Next time think about buying an ABS. It really helps in that kind of situation.

I know....kinda regret that I didn't buy ABS...but at the time I bought my bike there was none S with ABS so I just grabbed whatever they had...just couldn't wait any longer.

Still love my bike regardless of ABS or non ABS....it is a head turner everywhere I go, It is the star of the red light and every other bikes are no match.

It is nice to feel like a celebrity once in a while

Look at that poor guy standing beside his Aprilia - an amazing bike in it's own right, and not getting the attention he deserves.

Shouldn't be to difficult to add the ABS to your bike, the system is already prepared for it.
Might be worth to consider

Question

Indeed, we are glad you are well; it is only a motorcycle, and it appears to have "crashed well".
I've seen very poor road "repairs" like this and, being lucky enough to have thus far avoided a mishap, have nonetheless wondered if a motorcyclist would have a legal case against the state for such a blatent disregard for motorist safety.
I understand that the extent that this may be an option would vary by nation.
Any thoughts?

Good to see you and Pani all ok.

Always good to see a rider walk away from a spill.

Wow, it would have been nice of them to place some road signs warning about the loose gravel. Glad you could get up and walk away with minor scratches and the Pani too. Hopefully you were able to learn something from it in case the same scenario comes up again...but I hopefully it doesn't.

From what I gather from my dealer... the bike is prewired for it.. the only thing missing on the non ABS models is the brain that mounts behind the upper right side fairing.

I think all Panigales sold anywhere other than North America have ABS. If you can get ahold of an ABS brain, from what I understand, you just plug it in and you have ABS on your bike.
