Unless you ride in circles there's something wrong. Is the tyre very hot after normal road use? Not that I would recommend you ride on this tyre anymore to find out.

To me it looks like someone has been doing donuts or burnouts.....Definetly not normal track or road wear.

I got over 5K miles out of mine and they still weren't in terrible shape....but we're talking lots of long straight miles with only 1500 start/stop/hard miles. The great thing, though, was that my kind of riding proved that the stock rubber seems fairly immune to heat cycling. Still as grippy on day 55 as they were on day 6.

I got 2k Miles (3200 km) including 3 track days (with tire warmers) - this just isn't normal.

Pressure is 240kPa, which sounds fine according to the Pirelli guidelines. Only other possible significant change is that I upped the preload until the handling felt better (I do realise I would need a stiffer shock spring (I weigh 109kg)...) Did not make any major changes to rebound or compression...

It depends how hard you are on the throttle really. I went through my last Supercorsa SP in around 1200 miles and the front was pretty ruined in similar time. That included a trackday. I'm at about 900 miles and 1.5 trackdays on the current one and there isnt a huge amount left in it. I only use the bike for trackdays and fast spins though. Never use it for anything else |

No track days. 1200 miles and they're through the wear bars and the front is absolutely fried. I'll be trying a set of Power One.
