What boots are you wearing on the track?

Which are the best bang for the buck?

Any experience with Forma Ice Flow?

Sidi.....they're the only company I know that makes competition grade boots in wide sizes. If you have wide feet look for models with "mega" in the title.

I really like the Dainese Axial Pro In. Fit great and are the most comfortable boots I've worn.

Sidi's for the track and Sidi's for the coffee run. Never on the bike without them. Although have to say the Pani has destroyed my left Sidi as the edges of the heel guard are so sharp they've cut right through the stitching and the duct tape repair makes a real mess on the guards now. I've dremel's the edges down now but think a new pair is required!!
The plus with Sidi's is that mine have never "squeaked" when I walk in them.

Daytona Security Evo - safest boot out there IMO. Dainese Axial Pro's (not the torque) for street riding.

+1 on the Alpinestars Supertech R's. Every bit a good as the Sidi's but much easier to put on/take off without endless buckles, latches, wires, etc.

Yep. Too bad not enough people know about the Daytona's or have been able to try them on (or afford them). . .. Once you try them on and look at them, you realize why they are far and away the superior boot to everything else out there. It's not even close really. .. Everybody else is competing for second place in the "next best boot" after the security Evo's.

It's a complete carbon fiber inside boot, then covered on the outside with kangaroo leather. Outer boot can be replaced over and over again if it wears out as you retain the inner carbon fiber boot.

The carbon fiber inner does take about 10 track days to kind of form to your foot - either that or your foot is forming to the carbon fiber. . ..

but seriously - the best boot out there. Everyone else is pretty much competing for second best.

Same here, great boots, comfy good protection, but a PIA to get off.

If you decide on these, make sure you get the V2 or 3(?) if you go for these because the V1 comes with steel sliders and they aren't allowed on every track, whereas the plastic ones are.

Daytona ( the one down from the Security Evo- same design but a fibreglass inner boot rather than carbon) or Alpinestars Supertech R dependent on how hot it is.

I have changed the outer boot on the Daytonas. They are 10 years old but well worth the money.

Sidi boots have saved my foot/ankle serious injury twice on the track, won't wear anything else! Currently wearing ST Airs, previously had Vortice Air, Vertigo Corsa Air, and Vertigo Air.

Alpine Stars on track and quick blasts but I can't get the side stand down. Got some dainese gore-tex ones for longer rides or if I have to walk a bit.

I have the Dainese Axial Pros and Alpinestars SMX-Plus. TBH, I prefer the Alpinestars on track, and they've been faultless in protecting my feet after a few good spills (one at ~160kph).

The Dainese are for around town - they're comfier, look nicer and they don't squeak like the A*.
