hi congrats and i hope you love your bike as much as i do. one question for you and anyone else that feels they want to chime in. Everything i have read and have seen from dyno results say that termis suck. i have been holding out why are you so gung ho on the system. I have read they actually decrease power. if its a full system your paying for stainless steal pipework which you already have but with bigger headers. just wondering different opinions

Sorry to chime in but i note the only place I've read they decrease power is in a thread started by a competitive brand who, whilst they appear to be helpful and collaborative, are marketing a competitive product.

The name Termignoni is almost as evocative as Ducati itself, and the two brands have made some of the greatest bikes ever, and the music of Termignoni is a part of that magic. I've only had two Dukes, a 900SS and the 1199, both with Termis, and I wouldn't consider anything else.

The relationship between the two companies will surely overcome any early teething issues, if indeed they exist. Ducati are apparently going to release a new map for the bike which will make it even better.

My 1199S goes like stink and sounds amazing, and the pipes look good to boot!

It's a head over heart situation all over again, seems to be a recurring theme!

Congrats on the bike! Good choice and have fun!.

I have the termi slip on's that came with the Tri and they are great, a noticeable improvement. There is a few other topics/threads saying much the same.

As Wafatboy mentioned there is some discussion as to the benefit of the full headers, and if you check wallaroo's thread "Panigale Make Over" then he has posted a dyno result for the stock system, and is shortly posting a dyno run for the same bike on the same dyno but with the full headers, so we should get an accurate impartial answer.

There is also several topics on the Austin Racing Exhaust and dyno runs, which seem to indicate the full system Termi may not offer much increase and be improved upon, however be careful with which dyno runs you look at as some may relate to the Panigale RS for racing rather than our base, and S models. Austin racing also seem to have some piggy back fueling modules which can improve power for track(?).

There is also some discussion on Akrapovich but they are apparently not out yet and unlikely to come with an ECU or reflash, so....

Hope that helps.

yea i saw all those and started the threads about akro i made the phone call. The austin racing ones is what started me to question the termi full system. Honestly i dont know what to do. If i spend that much money i want the best out there. Termi is appealing to me cause of the flash of the ecu but having ss pipes and header is a drawback. akra is going to be all TI but no flash.
