comp werkes tail tidy

Installed the comp werkes tail tidy. I think I like it. Wanted to minimize the plate. Turn signals are LED's in the vents. TBH, I'd like them to be more obvious.

Just curious what you guys think... I think I liked the look a bit better on my streetfighter. But I definitely prefer it over the stock setup. IMO, Ducati designed that to be removed as soon as you get the bike home.

It was this or the DP tail tidy rig.... This was half the price, but that wasn't the main driver...

do you think if the intergrated tail kit comes out that this would be a better look for the signals rather than the led's inside the tail section?

I think it will be brighter and more noticible by cars behind you. The LEDs in the tubes are OK, but not great. I think when they make the integrated tail lights I'll probably go with them as well as keeping this tail tidy.

I just installed this tail tidy as well on my bike and I love it. Cleans up the back end of the bike so nicely and I actually really like the look of the smoked LED turn signals. I did have a car honk at me from behind when changing lanes yesterday before I angrily pointed down at the turn signal, at which point he waved and apologized with a gesture haha. Do I feel like the new tail light position makes driving in traffic dangerous? No more dangerous than riding a motorcycle in traffic already is. Honestly, I find that exaggerated body language and assertive riding protect me far more than my turn signals ever did. Regardless of where they were positioned.

And being able to look at this makes it all worth it

Looks better than stock. Damn license plates just wreck the lines of a bike.

Wow! A Ducati parked in front of a Starbucks... thanks for keeping the stereotype alive.

Just a light hearted jab... I do dig the tail tidy by these guys. That's the one I am gonna go with. It looks the best and isn't crazy expensive like the others.

It's not a Starbucks, it's an Italian Cafe / Stone Oven pizza kitchen across the street from my office called Cafe Vitta. The owner loves my bike and lets me park it for free in front of the cafe. I'll take the stereotype for free parking

I notice that both you guys who've posted pictures have gone with the standard version. Does anyone in California, specifically, Norcal, know if the LTD version would get attention from the cops being pretty knew to the area?
Assuming there's no interference issues I'd prefer the LTD version as it gives the tail bette shape IMHO but concerned the cops are going to be pulling me?? Could just get the set with both versions in I suppose??

Yea, I was wondering the same thing... I'm in Texas and not sure of the legality of the LTD version here? We have an inspection tag that is supposed to hang below the plate as well.. Not sure how I will handle that one as it may interfere with the rear hugger.
