Check my avatar, similar to the bike run in superstock. Expect next years WSBK to have Althea racing colour scheme, headlight stickers and a lot of carbon!!! |

I took pictures of the same bike at Indy. I agree, it was pretty much all stock. I doubt it's anywhere close to what they will use for SBK. Here is my pic, as well as pictures of all the Ducati race bikes that were lined up at Ducati Island, for your enjoyment (with the exception of the 1199S, because I ran out of uploads, but I'm sure we've all seen that one)

Checa said in an interview that it doesn't yet have the speed needed to be competitive in WSBK. I hope they find it over the winter!

Step in the Panigale....it's been running in World Superstock and has been doing very well. The new bike that they will be running in WSBK I am sure will be very competitive. The old bike (this seasons 1198) is lacking straight line speed but the Panigale I'm sure will be up there! | |

Troy Bayliss has already tested next years WSBK bike and said it was the fastest thing he had ridden but they where still trying to work out how to get all that power to the ground. I believe this what Checa was talking about as well. |
