Earlier on I posted info on a heat shield I had made for my Panigale, Pics were added, and it was my first design. I have now made one out of alloy and attached Zircotec 3 to the underside. Results here in southern Arizona have been very very good, I can now ride it all day far more comfortable then when it was first purchased. One can still feel the heat, as heat rises as you know, however its now a work of art you can ride. I have used the Zircotec under the seat, under the subframe above my shield and on the underside of the shield. I also wrapped the rear pipe. Results are that the Ohlins does not get roasted, the ECU keeps cooler and the rider does not roast his thighs, ect. Also hot start issues, I have none. When Here are my new photos.
