haven't asked yet. Will keep you posted. $2,100 mentioned above is the only reference point

Frasers sales staff for both parts and bikes have massive arrogant attitudes, poor product knowledge, service guys out back are nice enough so far.

Will be buying future DP parts from USA or north side Ducati - def not frasers.

Definitely for all the carbon covers, rear sets and the like it's better to go somewhere else...but what about engine related stuff? e.g. head pipes...

I sent an email to ducati for head pipes bought overseas vs OZ warranty...no reply so far

they cant void ur warranty as long as it was installed by a "ducati trained tech" as the parts all have the same part number (world wide)

however they can charge you more for installing it (for full system i hear any where from 2hrs - 6hrs)

When you buy your headers here in oz, that high price is with the fitting included.

Sorry should have been more percific

I really think it depends on who you meet.
I didn't buy my bike from Frasers (based on comments like yours), but over the past few months, I've visited them several times and met a number of different
staff, all of whom have been very pleasant to talk to and deal with. They were even aware that I had placed my order with another dealership, but still were very helpful and friendly.

I have been dealing with John @ Ducati Noosa who knows the Fraser's personally. He has so far been nothing but courteous, helpful, straight up honest and has some awesome stories to boot.

I can only hope that it stays that way because one particular Brisbane shop who also sell Ducati's should be put away for O2 theft.

Cheers,
MoZ

got the call from ducati just now.

the lady gave me a general answer about overseas accessories:"we encourage you to buy accessories in your country to comply with local regulations"...
and I didn't go further into the detail of the 70mm head pipes being the same across the world

BUT when I mentioned the price differential for other accessories(ie carbon covers) b/w Oz and Europe, she told me she will forward my email to the sales department.

Pretty sure nothing will happen since I just count 1 , I would recommend other Ozzies to complain as well because:

1-AUD$ is stronger than USD and here bike prices are on average twice as much....
2- transport costs are just the usual BS since italy-USA or Italy-Australia is a comparable trip.
3-As an additional remark I think bikes are sent over at 20% VAT discount from italy and get recharged a 10% GST through Australia customs...so that does not work as well

just my 2 cents

I live a whole lot closer to melb frasers but ended up with the ringwood guys. I don't want to talk negatively about other dealerships and I won't, lest to say that I made my decision and am quite happy having to go that distance to ringwood. The service guys are cool and they've been upfront about everything on the bike and some realities about it...so thumbs up to ringwood.

Got my Panigale last week from Fraser in Sydney and I want to say that the service was EXCELLENT. So I'm here to report my direct experience since here and there you can read many controversial comments.

In 10 mins I had all the paperwork done and then I started a good 45 minutes induction with one of their senior service guys.

He talked me through the bike features from Alpha to Omega and replied to all my questions promptly. He gave me tons of advise on how to break in correctly and warned me about all the weird things this bike can do (smoke, oil hunger, exhaust valve rpms...)

The bike came with full tank, which is a fairy tale in Europe...

Overall excellent experience

hi I bought my panigale from frasers in Perth, I can not fault there service one bit, very very helpful and professional, also looked after me very very well with all my aftermarket DP parts,

i bought my full termi's system and had it ceramic coated and fitted them my self, i paid $AU3600 for the complete termi kit, thats with out the ceramic coating yet.

I've placed a deposit at Duke City Melbourne and spent a lot of time with the Sales Manager John. So far he seems to be very knowledgeable and helpful and awaiting delivery ETAs.

I'm tossing up on whether to purchase slipon Termi's from stock but still not sure as the stock bike is pretty loud...... Just don't want hassles with the traffic police and yellow sticker!

Anyone actually purchased slipon termi at a AUS duke dealer?
