Good luck with that buddy, think it will be sometime before demand settles down and they have to start discounting them to make a sale.
However I negotiated that all accessories I bought would be sold to me at cost, thats the most I could get out of them...

+1. I did get them to throw in the 1st service free though. It's a matter of join the waiting list or don't. Not much room to bargain.

A big fat nothing - that's what I got discounted!! Charged me all the set up fees, wouldn't knock any cash off the MSRP and no freeby goodies. And I was a prior customer. They're tough in New Orleans - only dealer in town so it's take it or drive 150 mile to the next dealer.

I haven't got mine yet but just in calling two different dealers I got quoted two different RRPs for the Tricolore - 42,990 vs 42,300.. A difference is a difference in either case.

I Ride: oh yes, I do!!!
stock price. after a while these guys seem to be a little "used-car-sales-guyish" to me.

that's what you get when you want to be one of the (very) first. when they have your deposit, they have you by the ballz.

at least they let me ride their test bikes on the weekends while waiting.

I Ride: Panigale S
Stock price but, due to an odd quirk, no charge for the first service or full suspension set up.

Early adoption is attractive and considered value. $$$$ is a complete non-issue, access and time far more valuable.

slightly pre-owned low mileaged Panigales are starting to pop up for you bargain hunters, like this one here in Newport Beach: http://www.ducatinewportbeach.com/Pr...ED+2012+1199+S
