I bought the rear shock cover from this ebay seller in China:

I'm quite happy with it! Quality is quite good. Underside is a bit rough, but you don't see it.

Do you find any reduction in the transfer of heat from the header to your leg using this carbon piece???

I don't see how this piece would have anything to do with the heat transfer to his leg, but will be completely shocked (no pun intended) if it does for some crazy reason.

Well I guess what I mean is.. when I am in traffic and stationary left leg down the original rests against my leg.. and its hot.. was wondering if the carbon makes any difference?????????/
