paint protection?

Just wondering if any of you guys have dealt with paint protection film like 3m ventureguard for the whole bike.

I'm worried that it would obscure the look by seeing lines everywhere.

Please tell me your experience and would you recommend it

I have the Avery nano fusion on mine and its awesome.
Very clear, no orange peel look to it and you really need to look to see the lines.
I highly recommend it.

There's been a couple of large threads already posted. Most using the 3M type and are happy with it. I've used on 3 bikes and personally happy with it. Threads are about 3 months old I guess but a search will find them for you. Cheers,

i have the tankslapper 3M kit, self applied, recently polished it, most people don't even recognize it.

here are some pictures:

i really like it, for the price you can't beat it. but, if you look closely, you will see certain lines and a slight orange peel - but that also depends on the surface, where it is applied. large, even surfaces are better than small, bent and squeezed faces...

Hi Bluebear, I have my whole bike done with the ventureshield prior to collecting. For the most part you can't tell it's on, you really have to look see it. AC

I have the xpel ultimate paint shield. It is self healing, has a 10 year warentee, will not yellow and you can wax it if you like. Go on you tube and search xpel ultimate paint protection. You cant even tell its on the bike. Also if you scratch the shield warm water will fix it. It really is amazing. for the shield and the install it was 650. There is no way i would try it myself.

I have the 3M VentureShield fitted. However I have various scratches and a hard scuff/rub where I spilled fuel onto the tank. I have tried Plexus with no joy and left it in the Sun and applied Alcohol with no joy at all.

I would appreciate any advise with regards to healing the 3M Venture Shield such as the application of Polish (? - which type/brand) or warm water(?).

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I am getting the drift that it is just best to remove the 3M Venture guard and put the Avery Nano Fusion on.
