I think I'd prefer powercoat too, an exact match for the paint. Red anodised stuff always looks washed out and a bit pink.

I hear you. I will offer both. I am a fan of anodizing myself. Hard anodizing stays red from what I have seen. This is why I am posting before I make them. I want to get you guys feed back so that I deliver what you guys want. Thanks for all the comments!

Sold! I was going to send my Yoshimura block off plates to TRIPAGE LED to have him install some LED's but this may be my option. I especially like the idea of having them red instead of black like all the other ones. I'm subscribed and anxious to see the final product.

looks like it will be a great product with all the input from the forum members.

Key points I think are the plug and play and color matched to fairing.

Will this be DOT approved? Does it need to be?

DOT approved question pending. They will be plug and play and color matched. You will unscrew your mirrors unplug them. Plug in ours and screw them down and you are ready to go! Thanks!

+1 Also VERY interested, as long as it's a clean install and look.

Very interested, but has to be clean install and look.

I agree that this could make the bike look real clean at the front end but are you all going to ride without mirrors or stick bar end mirrors in? The mirrors are, I know, pretty useless but at least they give you some sort of rear view. And IMHO the bar ends dont make the bike look like the stallion it is? More cafe racer i think. Although today my left mirror started flopping around in the housing so maybe theyre completely useless?!?!

On my list of parts next are bar end mirrors, but not your usual type. They are going to be really slick. They will totally fit the style of the Ducati SBK. We have block offs/turn signals coming out for the 1098 and 1198 next close to what these look like. After that we will have reservoir caps. Then the mirrors and...............

When I get the prototypes in next week I will post up a video of them running. I will offer them in black, red and raw(silver). They LED's will be the same color as the block offs. ie-Black/black, red/red, silver(raw)/Clear LED. I will keep you guys posted!
Thanks Dylan

Awesome Lux machine!!!! I'll go for either anodized red or black...for as long as the LED's are bright enough to be seen blinking...I'm gettin a set!

Please let us know asap!!!!!
