White 1199 at Intermot in Cologne, Germany

Ducati presented the white version of the 1199 (base as well as "S") today. Thought some of you might be interested to get the bike in white. The pics are already on the homepage of ducati.

I love the new 848 Corse SE paint scheme they also released today, looks an awful lot like the Panigale RS. Stunning!

I Ride: 1199, 10'CBR1000RR, Metropolitan Scooter (yup)
i love the white color, but color alone is not enough to trade mine in for a new one, it seems that they also revise the suspension for better handling. need more info...

Indeed, but confusing?

New ergonomic guidelines assure a perfect integration between rider and the motorcycle. The saddle-handlebar height has been lowered by 30 mm and the handlebar has been raised by 10 mm and broadened by 32 mm.
Is it saying that the handlebars are wider and taller? I wouldn't like that at all. In addition, so what? Get aftermarket clip-ons and put them where you like... I've been debating lowering and bringing mine in as the steering stop is adjustable.

Not sure I like it. I would need to see it in the flesh to decide, but I'm happy with red.

I'm still going to get the red one. Only question is "S" or "SP"/"R"... Guess I will still have to wait until the middle of November (EICMA). But I want the bike for the beginning of the next season so I have plenty of time

It is really great reading all of the storys here and learning from your experiences! Thanks a lot to everyone here! Great community

That's commpared to the 1198/848 models, there are NO changes to the seating position, handlebars, suspension, etc. for the 2013 model, everything is basically identical to the 2012 models. Only differences are the items that were subject to recalls on the 2012 models are corrected up front for 2013 models.

definately an updated model pic and not just a photochop. notice the oil sight glass hole in the lower fairing is on the white version, but not the red.

I agree, the white just doesn"t flatter like red or tri. Makes an amazing looking bike, look mediocre and uninteresting. I wouldn"t touch it.
