I've never seen this before, right after the safety rider goes down and your speeding up, you get red bars all across the top of your dash, it looks like it happens about at redline, do the bars light up when the rev limiter kicks in?

NIce vids, what class, tell me it's not novice or I'll reallly feel inadequate!

Are you serious, you've never seen those lights on your dash!!?? Boy you're nursing that bike lol.

Those are your rev lights, start lighting up around 9500 all the way up until you hit redline...then the top center lights up red. Just bellow your redline indicator is you TC light, which is Orange ;-).

These vids were Intermediate, a step down from Advanced which I sometimes ride. Rode that class to accompany some friends I invited to their 1st track day. They eventually moved up from Novice to Intermediate.

Its all traffic to me...Even when I ride Advanced on this bike I going around the racers working on their lap times.

Glad you enjoyed

Vieos like this are the 2nd reason I don't like the DP shield. First reason, you can't fold the mirrors back - second, not as good a view through the windshield! Did the bike ever hold you back, or was it just you? I just asking did the Pani give you everything you asked of it?

To be honest, im quite comfy riding the bike hard now...I feel like I know her, ya know.

I feel like people around me on the track hold me back, because you really cant trust others, you dont know their skill level.

I also feel like I ride the bike to the tire's limits...I love the Supercorsa SPs, but i'm thinking I need slicks to push any harder ;-).

I so was like this with my past bike, and my dream is to be there with my Pani, I just need to ride her more. She really dosen't need a single performance/handling mod, she is pretty much perfect on the track.

Watched the second vid, or most of it, and wasn't quite as described.

Some poor riders on display & didn't look that quick to be honest. Is overtaking around corners not allowed on US track days ? Didn't see the traction light flickering either.

Sorry, but try harder.

Thanks for your feedback, everyone entitled to their opinion .

Overtaking is most certainly allowed, but there are rules depending on what level you're riding. In Novice overtaking is only allowed on straights, Intermediate, outside on corners and Advanced, go for it.

In this particular vid I rode Intermediate, keep in mind you don't know these people and how well they ride so I'm very cautious about passing on the outside trusting they will hold their lines and not panic.

Lastly, the goal of getting around the track quickly is not just to make the TC light flicker....I've easily done that in previous vids. I had my TC set at 2, to allow some amount of sliding of the rear tire..that's just my preference .

On the street my TC is set at 3.

Thanks for watching anyway

Kewl videos Brother.

I noticed your warning lights on the tach were gone, and you just bought your replacement. Did you get her broken in before you went?

Working on breaking the new bike in, tha hard way of course. Not as quickly as previous tho, not as anxious to break her in as the first one...I do wanna get it out the way th
