1198 full termis vs 1199 full termis sound/performance

Anybody on here have both bikes with full termis? It seems as though people are saying the full termis on the 1199 arent as loud as they were on the xx98 series? Can anyone give me a comparison? I also remembered how my full termis took away torque on my 1098 compared to stock.....is it the same feeling for the 1199 or are the people saying it has more torque with the full termis telling the truth?....I have had my full termis sitting in the box since march 2012 for my 1199 debating should I sell them and wait for the akra because of sound or just sell the headers n do the slipon thing.....I dont want to lose anymore midrange since it already is less than the old series.....please help guys

I have full termi's on my 1199, while my friend has slip-on'd on his 1198s.
His bike is way louder and has a better overall sound while on the gas. My bike sounds so nasty while at an idle. The bike sounds like pissed off!

I would wait. But you might sell them now, if Akro or AR come out with something revolutionary, you would lose more money then. My buddy has the Akro Titanium on his Aprilia, and it is beautiful and sounds awesome. I am not a big fan of the Termi sticker, it reminds me of the Rolling Stones logo

not worried about resell value because i paid less than slipon pricing for my full........but i appreciate the advice......i never thought any akra from the past on other models looked better than termis....but ill never say never

I have both.

I feel my 1199 while riding is actually loader on the bike than my 1098r with a full system.

They are both fantastic by the way and at idle the 1199 sounds like a very trick and angry Ducati race bike. When accelerating and using the power shifter it is something we could of only dreamed of a few years back.

I ride both with ear plugs anyway.

You definitely get a cleaner fuller mid range on 1199 so no problems there. I can't see any sense in waiting for some other system but that's just me. Enjoy what you have, you won't regret it.

I can't really hear my own exhaust when riding. Didn't realize what the 1199 sounded like until i saw one roll by one day.
