1199 in shop for 2 weeks, got the can line error...

Bike is in shop for 2 weeks. I got the can line error.

Harness melted by radiator, and ecu is starting to shit.

Damn it. All warranty.

Note: my bike started shutting off in corners and whatnot. Check for loose wires and etc.

As someone who still hasn't gotten my pani, and so hasn't paid for it yet, I hate hearing stuff like this. I don't care if it's not the most powerful, or fastest around a track, but I DO care if it's going to be having constant problems that will kill the joy of owning it and destroy the resale. Sorry to hear it. At least it's under warranty I guess.

Edit: did they give you any run around with all your mods? I wouldn't be surprised of they had blamed it all on the Shorai.

No. They sell shorai lol. They have stated it will be warranty work already.

Did you have a radiator guard installed? I just pop in a R&G guard on the weekend, notice the temp is about 10 degree higher on average. What a bummer.

The same thing happened to me.my bike shut down by itself after few hundred metres ride.lucky i was still nearby my place.tried riding at the basement of my apartment again the engine shutdown but this time couldnt start at all.called the dealer n they gonna come n pickup the bike tmorrow.ouuccch.

Yes I have radiator guards. doesn't affect it by any means.

Bike out of shop. Re routed harness and cannot get the error to replicate any longer. I have had the bike back for quite some time, just an fyi.

And knowing is half the battle? I've been lucky enough to hit 7100 with no real issues. Now, I am eager for my Lightech parts to show...

Hey all i just wanted to add an experience w/ the "can line" error I experienced.

I bought one of those Genius chargers and installed the leeds on my stock battery.

Took it out for a ride and about 35 min in and at a point that I crested speed the dash went bonkers. I pulled over and it chilled out, but once I returned throttle, it buged again.

Today, is the warmest it's going to get in sometime today here in NY, so I took the leads off and rode for about 45 min and not error.

I just thought this might be helpful to add to this thread if needed. Weird.
