I Ride: Panigale S
I was thinking the same thing.
All it needs is the Matt carbon front guard though... Then it's a winner IMO .

White. Really? Really? Ducati would have sold more, and made more people lust, if they had used YELLOW fairings with a BLACK swing arm and whatever other plastic is there should be accented with Black. I love the YELLOW and BLACK of the insect world like wasps, hornets and bees. Danger! Watch out! RED is another great emotional color and needs no explanation.

White is for service vehicles/trucks, projects no excitement and stands for normalcy. White is NOT about hot, Italian bikes. Maybe in Italy white is something special but, in North America it's a yawner.

At best, I'll say they provided an optional choice.

I Ride: White 1199S w/ ABS
maybe its personal choice

white is for me and im geting it
you may not like it but alot of success came from white

1198 and 848 were white which sold

but saying that maybe give them time yellow will come out

or last option like is do it youself (which was gonna be mine if white wasnt gonna come out.
check the LINK-

the 848 in white looked really good tho.

But have to agree the bike looks better in red, I did have a yellow 748 many years ago, that'd be a nice color too.

My streetfighter is pearl white and actually looks quite good!

I Ride: A little bit of everything
Yellow is gorgeous for sure. I like the white, but I don't love it. With some CF, it may complete the white.

I Ride: 1199 Tric
I think the red wheels and frame is what set off the Silk White 848 - this just looks dull.

Black, Grey or Yellow would have been better options IMO.

I Ride: 1199s Tricolore
I don't mind white but that seems like just too much white and too plain. Maybe I will grow on me ... Not sure yet.

In the metal might be better?

I Ride: Ducati Streetfighter
I was not a big fan of white bikes but ended up with a white Streetfighter.

It looks fairly plain as is, but white is such a wonderful blank canvas as mentioned above.

With the plethora of CF bits available these days you can pick and choose your carbon which always gives a great contrast to the white.

White also allows a "theme colour" for ancillaries on the bike and of course you can choose any colour under the sun with white.

White is fine IF they put a red stipe on the tank and front fairing ala 1198 "SP Series"...then maybe a few red parts like a red Subframe etc...

Well I guess, that's up to the new owners...gives them ideas to customize their white 1199s...

pictures do the white bike no justice. you have to see it in person. by the way the S has the carbon fiber guard just like the red S does. Yellow though would have me on the fence to trade my red one in.
