Well, I got my spanner wrench and block offs from CD. Also got my second set of rubbers from the Michelin Man (third since I've owned the bike)! If you guys want I'll do a TUT for the PAIR removal. |

Got most of my order in: Fitted the plate holder. I'm pretty sure I'll be one of few in the states with one. Looks better than the rest; the entire piece is solid secksy! Also had to do a little work on the plate mount. It came with a Euro mount. Still need to finish the LED wiring, but I'm done for the day. The rearsets took it out of me... I almost went in to cardiac arrest when a head torqued off while securing the smog plates. Luckily, I was able to get it out after I hammered a small socket onto the remaining stud. PHEW! |

Yes, I will use lock-tite if I'm sure I have to lol. ![]() I can't wait to get rid of these ugly mirrors. I just need to get some shrink wrap for the wiring and some plugs for the AIS hoses. I left the hoses on to simplify having to put everything back on, and well it would involve WAY more effort than it'd be worth. Last edited by TransNone13; November 1st, 2012 at 07:36 PM. |

AIS = Air Induction System. It's an emissions control "Feature". It brings clean air into the cylinder head right before the exhaust manifold. It helps ignite unburned fuel in as it travels through the exhaust and leans it out so the exhaust appears to be cleaner. It causes backfiring and inaccurate O2 readings. |
