5000 miles = 8046 kkilometres.
Base with ABS
New silencers fitted due to Alum heat shield failure.
New base forks being fitted due to no rebound damping.
Base suspension is s**t !!

Hey Zaid1199 and Venomous, how are you guys holding up and are the bikes ok? I'm originally from Mass and still have lots of family in the New England area. In fact some of them are stuck here with me seeing their flights got cancelled . Anyway, hope all are safe and dry!

I am having my rear shock replaced under warranty, the rebound adjuster never worked (no "clicks")

That was last week. At 11K and change now, with some of those last miles being driven on the Tail of the Dragon while Hurricane / Tropical Storm Sandy did her best to make me very, very uncomfortable.

How many tires have you gone through? I just threw on my third set at 7200 miles.

My forks have not leaked any oil at all.
They had rebound damping when new, now it has all gone, the forks feel like pogo sticks.
All I can think of is that the pressurised gas has leaked out ??

Should have my bike back by the weekend, whith new forks fitted, warranty baby ye.

Made it through the hurricane ok, Im on the NH border about 30 minutes from boston, however i had to go in to work on monday and then left early, got home and checked my shed where i store the bike. I overbuilt the shed, years ago!, HAHA HA, didnt even budge a millimeter, however my neighbors tin can special from sears was tumble weed, HA cant speak for Venomous, but pissed because the hurricane wrecked what little time i left to ride. Now there is so much crap in the roads, im considering to end my season this week.

thanks for asking! wonder how any members from NY made out?

I got hit with just rain/wind/cold while going from Knoxville to Asheville, NC. Nothing like what happened in NY/NJ.

As for tires--I'm getting ready for my third set, TransNone13.
