To be accurate, that is not the shifter, but the rearset that is loose. Either way get it fixed soon and have the swing arm checked too.

Not the best way of instilling confidence by the Stealership!

That is so shit, how can they let a bike out without checking that stuff????

The reality is that even though we pay top dollar for the Ferrari of the motorbike world we're getting the same service as if we'd bought a Hyosung. I don't want to be pampered but I would like to know that my bike is getting the very best attention.

Alot of that's dependent on the dealer, if you've got a suck dealer you'll have a bad experience.

Sorry to hear and see that. When you take it back have them fix it as well as fix where it's hitting and scratched at. Also have them throw in some DP or aftermarket part. I would go in furious.

I bet stuff like this doesn't happen on Hyosungs.
Really.
I'm sick of reading stories like this.
I've been lucky with my bike, but I feel for those with these kinds of issues.

Mine fell off too and left me stranded. Luckily a guy pulled over with some tools and I was able to fix it myself.

I remember with my 1000RR, they forgot to put the 2nd bolt on the rearsets. They swiveled out of place on the way home lol.

That really blows man. I saw the vid,its just disgusting that crap like this goes on. Can you imagine if you had shit mechanics in the air force and you flew a plane Give the dealer a piece of your mind and find some one you can trust to work on your bike. Ask around for any reccomendations, must be some good ones in your area. Dont give those amateurs another penny.

I Ride: oh yes, I do!!!
Lost a screw of the side stand. The bike almost fell but i saved it. Crappy loose screws. A friend wit few ducs said when i bought mine: make sure to tighten all screws and bolts every 200kms.
Sad but true...

I have just swapped my rear sets out with Rizoma's. The dealer put a lot of locktite on all the bolts it's was a pain to remove the rear sets but I guess it's better than having it come off. I had to drill out the bolt that connects the rear set to the shift arm eyelet.
