this guy is a performance motorcycle shop, this is an advertisement video for his shop. They are saying that it's his particular method of running in this new bike on the dyno process that is gaining the extra performance over people who just run them in on the street

Is the Dyno supposed to account for drivetrain losses and not doing it? I would expect a full 20 hp, if not more, less than the dyno's number at the wheel..

One thing I found interesting in the video was the talk at the end about "not running in" the engine as per Ducati's recomendations.

It would be interesting if anything went wrong with the engine./drive train and they down load the engine data at the dealership and claim his warrenty is invalid due to not following the manufacturers recommendations.

A mate of mine in Singapore has told me that the Ducati dealership there will do the whole first 1000kms as a "hard run in" on the dyno and are claiming 8-9 more hp.

I think unless this bike is specifically for the racetrack, the first 1000kms is a great way to get to know the bike and how it handles.

Lets face it how many of us can really use 195hp for the way it was intended.

I love how people are always trying to get another 3, 5 or whatever more horsepower out of their bikes. Really, 195 isn't doing it for you? LOL. IF you are on the top end of racing, I could get it, but how many of us here are really in that category?

Yes our bikes are setup for the street where we probably wont use all the HP. Although I know deep inside you already have or want to take it on the track and feel and use all the HP you can. Because thats what sold most of us on this beauty.

Although My first thoughts of this video was HAH! I'm rubbing these dyno numbers into my friends faces that have 2012 Kawi Zx10 and another with a BMWs1000.
Which both I've yet to race (do some highway pulls). Just to show off a little more.
