Updates and recalls

Aloha everyone,
I finally took my bike in for the ECU flash so while I was there I wanted to discuss a few issues noted on the forum. My local Ducati dealer here on the island appeared to be completely unaware of any recalls outside of the safety recall.
I kindly pointed out my melting LWR RH fairing and said "Really!" He proceeded to stumble through the Duc website to show me the bulletins, which I had already seen, but there were no such bulletins noted on his screenshot regarding the fairing or the upcoming heat shield kits. Additionally, the warranty officer had no idea there were any issues at all.
I do realize I live on an Island and news sometimes travels slowly, but d$$&!
Is there anyone who can provide a link or a listing of the Ducati recalls cited by your dealers along with the recall/bulletin number? There are only ten 1199's I know of on the island; so our problems don't necessarily get immediate attention without supporting documentation.
To end on a bright note, the warranty claim was submitted and I vote thumbs up for the ECU flash. Much better!!!
Thanks for any help rendered,

Aloha!

There is no recall for melting fairings, there is an larger rubber bung for the full terminal system.
The std bike only has a problem is someone removes the front ex pipe and re fits it at the wrong angle and it touches the fairing where the spring hooks on

the fairing information is incorrect. my lower fairing melted from the stock exhaust from the factory. ducati replaced it for me as a recall.

So was mine, however, it was warranty work, not a recall.

Latest update: The dealership called the regional office IRT the melted fairing and the alleged heat shield recall. Here's what I was told, " Ducati North America is aware of the melted fairing and confirmed that there are multiple cases of this occurring". However, the reason behind the excess heat was explained as poor spark detonation which lead to late or delayed combustion post or in the CAT. In short the combustion is occurring to late heating the exhaust system and pipes.
I can't speak to the accuracy of what I was told, but it seems to fit some of my issues. They also said that they would check and replace my spark plugs and throttle/ spark advance.
I recommend everyone check their lower right hand fairings for signs of heat. I hope this helps someone. Thanks to all who replied. This is being covered under warranty.
