It's all about the $$$$$. Probably they got them early and owners don't have their cash ready. I know some people who have dropped out after counting the beans.

I was there on the dot as soon as it was ready...quivering.

and if anyones interested....I said screw it to the DP race and comfort seat...it looked crap and my butt is fine on the standard other than slipping. Got it reu-pholsetred at oztrim in ringwood for 110...awesome job and they did it for me while my bike was being serviced. The new covering makes a big difference to the feeling of the bike. I couldn't stand the stock seat and DP ones looked crap.
I got the comfort seat and thought is looked fine. But too much pressure on my wrists so it is back in the box.

Really? Just for comparison how tall are you?

I'm thinking of getting the cOmfort seat also. Maybe race seat will be better in terms of ride height then.

I also got the comfort seat and Ive had no such issues with discomfort on the wrists.. 5'11"
From what the dealer told me, the race seat also has more padding than the stock seat.

Northside - they gave me a better price than List. Decent blokes there too unlike the other dealer in Sydney.

Hang in there buddy its worth the wait.

You can always buy the one that some guy is selling in QLD for 40K with 65km on the clock.

Although I cannot understand anyone that would pay that premium just to get a bike a few weeks earlier.

lol.. @ 40K i'd rather pick up the Tri thats on the showroom floor..
not quite the point though..

I think the thing that's pissing me off more than anything else is the lack of communication, and the lack of enthusiasm from the dealerships.
