Gizmo1199 - same for me. Base, oil level in the middle of the the glass at 630mi, very rare puff of smoke on first start after sitting awhile. There were a ton of threads talking to smoking early on in the deliveries. Mabye out cylinders are seated better?

Hi Trauma, I was wondering if it was a regional issue, but have spoken to the guys at pro twins (where I buy my ducati's) who have said they have seen a few smoke on start up(didn't say which models) but this has always stopped. Probably just luck of the draw as I'm on the other side of the pond from you. keep it the right way up. AC

Smoking issue went away after 3 starts. Added 1/4 Qt of oil after 200 miles.

Did 1100 miles over last week, and I had to add 750ml of oil this morning. Bike now has 2500 miles. :-(

1300 km and not a drop of oil needed so far. :-)
