Awesome for you Maloo.
Us Aussies are expecting a full report from you once you get out on the road.
Don't let us poor, sad, endlessly waiting bastards down

Picked up my bike today as promised by "City Ducati", could not have been any more plesant, Big thanks to them !!

ride home 100 km into the country, went via some great hills and twistys up through the Dandynongs
This is my first ride of any Ducati, and i find it fantastic, my only comparison is a R1 track bike, the other 2 bikes i have are cruisers.
The quick shifter is the first i have ever used, hold throttle constant and change up, it realy is that easy !, any whare from 4-7 rpm and later on more, it performed faultlesly. HOT BUTT ! yes, but thats the way it is, once your moving up in the 100s its fine, im not that used to sports bikes on the street and my wrists cop it a bit but i guess i will get used to it.
I thought i would hate the mirrors more than i do, but they are ok in traffic and growing on me, so i guess they will stay.
NO SMOKE., but i was told to check oil regularly
And then i got home and most of my carbon bits turned up - yeeahha!!
got my comfort seats today and they look great, red stitching and very well made
see how it feels once i get it on
overall very happy with my purchase
cheers.

Anyone in QLD got their S yet? I'm a little perplexed at the lack of dealer information, we are past first shipment expected delivery date yeah..? Fast approaching second shipment delivery, so I am led to believe.

Was at Brisbane Motorcycles last night for the launch and they still couldn't give me a date. It was awesome to finally see the bike in the flesh though.

They told me April then May then June and last night they said it could be as late as August. I just want a date!

Interest level going down hill fast. The above just adds to it.
