I'd also like to know which stripes you used on the wheels.

rm4two, do you find that the tinting the screen helps with reducing the glare on the display during the daytime? I am 6 ft tall and find that the reflections hit enough to reduce visibility on the screen during the daytime.

Yes it helps a lot. I can actually see the bottom of the TFT now. VHT Niteshades should be available at your local Autozone or autoparts store in the paint section. My local Home Depot also has it so you might try there as well. It's a translucent paint meant to be used for car taillights, so to get it as dark as I have you'll have to apply several lite coats to the back side of your screen. I think I have 7 on my Pani. Also, it doesn't affect the TFT's auto day/night setting at all.

Local Cycle Gear. Nothing special. They have various thicknesses and colors.

DP Tall Screen

The taller screen from DP is certainly not tinted to my liking but it does provide a different look which enables me to see the dash alot better. It is sort of like a double bubble without the obvious hump in the middle. best pics I had at the time here.

good to know, I'll be stopping at the local oriellys on the way home to pick some up.

Gunny, when I saw the taller DP screen in person I didn't like it. I like the look of the stock windscreen shape and it defects the wind off to the top of my helmet to get air flow in so it works perfectly

I am not 6 ft tall however i just rode 640 miles this past weekend from lake placid over to stowe, VT and back to MA, i would have loved to have your screen for the weekend considering it was sunny and hot.

thanks for the info

rm4two, what is the purpose for doing the backside of the screen? why not the front? Never used this stuff before so curious to know more about it.

could you apply coats to front of screen instead or will water damage it?

You can certainly tint the front side if you like but then you'll need to apply a clear coat of some kind to protect it. Again the product is meant for taillights which don't get hit by direct road debris. I chose to tint the back side because 1) I didn't want to use a clear coat 2) by tinting the back, the front side acts like a clear coat and 3) Tinting the back hides mistakes better and 4) I think it looks better. This is the second bike I've used this product on and third windscreen. Tinting the back side definitely looks better and gives better results.

Although the taller DP screen is not a fave, it does reduce glare to the dash better than the stock one. I am glad it is "literally" not a tall screen in essence, but more of a rounded one that does deflect air higher off the riders helmet. There is certainly more room to tuck down into the bike.

Thanks for the reply, yes very true, i do agree on what you said, it would need a clear coat for the front, makes sense. Now hopefully last question was the screen hard to remove? Im sure you removed the screen and applied the spray. It really looks like a completly different screen and inexpensive!

Just wait until you need to remove that screen brother! LOL.
Mirrors must come off which is the biggest PITA. The wiring for them is tough to get back together since they both come from the left side of bike, and you think they would make the right wires a bit longer? NOPE! not much extra play on the right side, and they need to sit in this tiny area on back of mirror, get rubber gasket over base, and try to get them back on without wires popping out! The 4 allen bolts are the easiest piece of cake but entire job takes time and detail. Make sure you do it in good lighting too!

I hope you meat expensive and not "inexpensive" lol? Anyway, yes you have to remove the screen to do it which is kind of a PITA because you have to just about disassemble the damn bike lol. I wrote a quicky removal proceedure on this thread "http://ducati1199.com/mechanical-technical/1056-windshield-removal-torx-bit.html"
