Yeah man! Good you're ok. That bike took one hell of a hit. What are the odds huh? Seems like my first car accident... wasn't with a car... I sank it in a 30 foot deep river. Well I got out and rode with a few friends the other day, despite that fact that there is still salt on the roads, my back tire is starting to show wires, and it was about 42 degrees out. Question: How badly will salt effect the bike if you ride it every once in a while during the winter time in between when it snows? Most of the underside is protected so I can't imagine it would be affected by a little exposure here and there.

[QUOTE=RiderGary;48631] ![]() ![]() Holy shit ballz! You're lucky! That looks like a huuuuge impact by the look of the tripple and rear wheel.... glad you're ok. You should try and buy the bike back from ins company and part out some stuff... Damn. |

Hi all. I thought I'd post a pic of my bike which I've had since May, I've done 5200 Km. All the extra carbon and add ons are DP, with DP folding brake/clutch levers, stomp grip and a lighter rear spring (90 kg) on the way. It has the full termi system and EBC EPFA front pads with racing brake fluid which is a lot better IMHO. The gearshifter linkages have been changed to race pattern (1 up/5 down) which, with the quick shifter is fantastic ![]() The DP L/H rearset gear change hanger fell off 400 metres after the shop install, the R/H lower fairing melted/burnt near the header pipe and the R/H upper windscreen mounting point broke off - all fixed or being fixed under warranty. My left boot has worn a 4mm patch through the fairing paint and undercoat . I covered it with clear adhesive tape once I discovered it but it was too late by then. The new "upmap" will be loaded when the new spring and screen arrives at the shop. The weather in Adelaide has been great for riding but the TDU is a pain in the @ss with detours in the hills at the moment. This is my first post so if you think it is in the wrong thread please let me know . Cheers. Last edited by Aussie Pani; January 22nd, 2013 at 09:16 PM. |

With your DP folding levers (rear sets), what setting are you riding on now? and how do you like it? Quote:

The DP rear sets (96451111B) are set to their upper position which at 5’ 9” feels quite a bit more cramped for me even with the race seat but if you want a more aggressive (forward) riding position with a quicker body weight transfer they are great. The foot pegs have a lot more grip/bite on my boots through the corners etc than the stock pegs. NOTE: Once you’re happy with the setup/position Loctite all bolts!! The reverse (race) quick shifter (96676410B) does not need to be purchased if you buy the DP rear set kit because it comes with all the linkages and rods to allow you to reverse the pattern with the stock quick shifter. The folding clutch/brake lever kit (96880011B) is still on its way from the US, sorry for the confusion. |

Guys, can we not just keep this thread for beautiful pictures and create separate posts for other stuff?

Slight Cagiva look going on, but maybe that's just the Agip logo making me reminisce. | |
