Am I the only Mexican who rides a 1199? LDucati 1199S, after reading 7 pages of this and after this one post you just showed how mature you are. You are never the fastest person, there is always someone that is faster then you...unless your real last name is Stoner. I used to wonder if I was the youngest track rider back when I was 19, and also wondered if I was the fastest for my age...until a 13 year old on a 250 whooped up on me.

Also dont think just because some of these people are old they are slow. I remember a track day when I watched a 60 year old man walk over to his bike like yoda, crawl on his bike...and I thought "yea right." Once he got on the track it was nothing short then amazing.

Congrats on your 1199, but ride with humility and not trying to prove something. Its the people who are quite and listen that you need to watch out for, not the ones who talk and are loud and make comments like you did.

I am the only puerto rican in my town who rides a panigale if that counts and also 24. That makes us two mexicans with 1199 (in USA eyes we are the same)

I ceased talking shit about youngsters riding Superbikes when Roger Lee Hayden was running the Open Superbike Class in the WERA circuit at 14-15 years old. Around 97' or 98'.

I remember there was a big argument about his dad having to come out to the grid after the initial hot lap to hold the bike up because there was no way he could touch the ground while sitting on it.

A 18-21 year old one, with the right experience, is no big deal... There are still many, many people my age that have no right to swing a leg over a bike at all... let alone a 1200 Ducati.

Rock on children... if you are comfortable and know what you are doing.. more power to ya.

@LDucati 1199S - Gratz on the bike dude. Owning a Ducati is definitely a bucket list item that many men never get to cross off, let alone cross off at a young age. Enjoy it and treat it right.

@The Haters You couldn't be more transparent about wanting to engage in a pissing contest if you were dicks out crossing swords at a group urinal. Maybe Lduc's initial statement came off with the smell of hubris but the stench of snap judgements, intolerance, and territorial pissing is no better.

I just joined this forum tonight hoping to find a group of Panigale owners and enthusiasts with whom I could share my love of this amazing machine regardless of age, income, or background. Hopefully the treatment LDuc has received by some in this thread, warranted or not, is not indicative of the overall calibre of the members of this community.
