hi All, not sure if anyone is doing this, but it always help me ride more comfortable: im a road cyclist, and has always wear cycling short under my leather pants while riding motorcycle, the fabric wicks all the moisture away, and its padded with foam on the bottom, i do notice the difference in comfort when im not wearing one |

Every piece of gear I ride with is RS Taichi and by far this is the most awesome cool gear made! Cycle Sector in San Diego has best prices, especially if you're military! Once you get one of these you ain't gonna ride without it for sure! COOL RIDE / RS-TAICHI International Riders Spot |

Where do you get cycling shorts, who makes them, and how much?

I am curious about where to get them too. What is the best brand? Rode 120 miles yesterday and my ass really hurt. |

Going to Dick's Sporting Goods today to check out a pair. Even with the comfort seat, the heat is almost unbearable (after 100 miles).

Guess im just numb to the heat everyone is listing here. There is absolutely no comparison to the amount of heat thrown off the 1198 series! No where near that amount!!! |

Got this exact pair, wore them just now. Maybe, maybe it helps just a tiny bit. But I would say don't waste your money. After 30 minutes, the heat (for me) is hot enough I have to quit riding. Gonna love this bike in Sep/Oct but over the summer, this is gonna be a problem...at least for me; until I can find a solution. | |

Great idea! I'll also say if anyone wanted comfortable they should have bought a Goldwing, and not the most bad-arse sportbike Ducati has to deliver. Next there will be a complaint about there not being a cup holder. |

Or you could put cement in your coffee and harden up. Seriously though, that's a good tip if your incontinence nappy doesn't already soften the ride, I mean, if you suffer from a sore buttox. |

Look into wrapping the under seat pipe with heat wrap. You will get HP gain also.

I have found that wearing my leather pants has really helped with the heat. I agree that we cant buy a beast of a bike and not expect some compromises but I also feel that the more uncomfortable you are the less you concentrate on the road and more on the discomfort. My leather pants are perforated and are rather comfortable during summer...plus they block out more heat comming off the bike. In addition they have padding in the seat...two birds one stone. |

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I've taken the padding out of my standard seat and set DES to rock-hard. Man up, its a sports bike not an armchair. As for padded panties |
