Crazy busy at moment but we will try and get some results to show. It is a great system that certainly cleans up the poor fuelling.

Rich - Does the plug and play Rapidbike Italian fueling modules offer an interface for loading custom maps?

Yep I realise that. Development taking longer than expected along with tooling up. That's why Akra and others still have nothing.

Fuelling, yes you can upload maps of your choice.

Rear sets in black shipping this week then 3 weeks to next batch.

They have some graphs on the manufacturers site, this one in particular is very impressive:

Rich,

It seems this system does not replace the ECU and only adjusts what the stock ECU us telling the injectors and ignition coils to do. I wonder how does this work with the stock Ducati traction control and ebs ? Is the system smart enough to not make any adjustments (don't even know if this makes a difference)while the stock ECU is reacting to traction loss etc?

When adjusting the fuel mapping it is a piggy back device, it has no affect on the ecu TC or other things such as modes.
I will gather more precise info from Rapidbike and post up.

rich these modules are from the brand Rapidbike if i'm correct. you say it's plug and play. so in my case i drive the panigale with termi slip ons.

would it matter if you have slip-ons or full system? or are there special maps for different bike adjustments?

greets from amsterdam

Below full info on these fantastic units:

RAPID BIKE is an add-on module (commonly known as piggy-back), it is not a module designed to replace the stock ECU.

RAPID BIKE modules (EVO and RACING) does not interact or affect in any way the motorcycle traction control or other similar systems. The RACING module can also manage the engine braking (so in a way it works as an anti-slippery clutch) but there is no possibility for the RAPID BIKE modules to perform any operations acting on such parameters as the traction control.

RACING module allowing both, injection and ignition re-mappings. The EVO module allows only the injection re-mapping (in the case of the PANIGALE we have developed an injection map specific for each cylinder) – very important, both the EVO and the RACING module manage up to 2 stock lambda sensor signal (instead of using the O2 optimizer or other similar devices which have the only effect to “fake” this signal to the stock ECU with the result that most of power curve cannot be modified)

Both allow quick shifter plug in and edit each gear delay times.
