An exhaust that is quieter than stock (with the option to go louder, of course), would be a big selling point for me. Any way to have a db killer that can be switched over on the fly electronically (using the existing exup-type valve cables)? I'd like to be able to have full power/sound when I'm out on the highway, but when it's time to come home, be able to hit a switch and knock 10db off to keep the neighbors happy. Right now I feel like I'm one of those jerks on a Harley with open pipes when I come home at 2am.

That type of db killer is possible but expensive. It is an option we are looking into. If only it did sound like the RSV4 with our GP2 |

I'd even go for a manual, instead of electronic, baffle if that would reduce costs....as long as it was something I could twist on the fly without requiring any tools.

Rich, What sort of pricing are you looking at for the full system/slip ons? And there is no ti or carbon option? Also, I just had my bike on the dyno to get a baseline number and I am curious as to why there is such a large variance in the numbers that mags are posting and individuals. Mine put down 163.74 HP and 82.97 torque with SPS unplugged. I am a little disappointed in these numbers(was hoping for a 170ish. Even though the bike is plenty fast and works very well on the track. I thought at first maybe the dyno is just a little low but an 848 evo put down 121HP and 87 TQ the same day which is about the std for that bike. |

I don't care as much what it looks like as I do about getting rid of the fueling issues at 4500 rpms. Will this exhaust and map cure that problem?

The problem is that many dyno centres are not sure on the correct way to be testing this bike. Unplugging sensors along with other things. We have the Rapidbike modules and can guarantee to get the fuelling sorted out for you and get you to around 178bhp at the rear wheel. Our exhaust once ready will add around an extra 5 with the Rapidbike. We have so far sold 20 rapidbikes with great success fuel and ignition mapping. |

The Rapidbike Race is the best as it also allows ignition mapping so you can achieve optimum gains through the rev range.

I have had this component and really liked it. I am not familiar with the rapid bike products. I am guessing this part could void engine warranty, correct?

It takes things to another level, way beyond a pcv. Check the thread: http://ducati1199.com/ducati-1199/17...now-stock.html |

Here are a few pictures to give you a clue to what we have been working on. The bike will be on display at the UK NEC show end of November. I can't give any further info on the exhaust design but i can say that it is radical and very different from anything else that will come to the market.
