You really seem to stir up trouble don't you? AR makes some great products. Specifically I ran across them with their exhaust for the S1000RR. Geez dude, get a life... | |

I wonder when will AR be able to ship completed exhausts. What's the new release date and will we see it before the akra? Back in June it was just 6-8 weeks away. |

Ok the low down from us is that development is taking time as we have been testing many different set ups. After the problems with the termi system performance and heat issues we don't want to make the same mistakes. We have also looked at the problems racers are having with trying to adapt a catch all Bellypan. We don't want to produce a system that simply sits with other manufacturers systems, we want to produce something special as we do for the RSV4, BMWS1000 and ZX10. We have many options on outlet design that will be tweaked as the system is finalised. Giving you guys the opportunity to feedback and give suggestions is a good productive thing. After all, Honda have asked for public opinions on there new V4 project! Keep your comments coming, twin exit style, MOTO GP style? We are still on schedule to show the system at the uk nec show end of November. We believe Akra will show there system in Milan early November. |

I think for looks the exhaust has to exit in the same area and style as the stock system however, using a wider, more race looking slash cut tip. The rear exhaust loop is there to get the length on the rear header I presume? Would switching to a single silencer eliminate this issue like the Akra system for the RC8 does which does not use a loop? This single can could then exit on one or both sides at its rear. |

We are experimenting with lengths and have found the loop has to stay to get best results. The single outlet idea with a full bellypan is favourite.

Very time consuming. We are on it right now. The Panigale is a problem bike full stop! The design of the exhausts is very complex and as you can imagine very expensive to produce tooling for the parts (20K+) and then the parts on top.. We are looking at every option prior to pressing the button, we need to be sure on the end results: Performance Ease of fitment Heat transfer Visual design |

Thanks for the info Rich. I know in the end you guys will produce something that has the style and performance to go along with our bikes and that is different from everyone else. Subscribed!

Rich, will your system come with an upmap, or require a piggyback ?

We can offer a ecu re map, we will work out if an exchange will be an option. Although Piggyback is the best solution for a far more accurate map.

Yes, it has to work correctly or will not sell. It also has to truly have a benefit over stock. To me, the termi's really don't, so I'm not buying them. I'm not saying the termi's aren't better than stock, rather, they just are not enough improvement to warrant replacing stockers to me.... QUOTE=Rich22;36875]Very time consuming.
