Pulled mine off. Used some WD40 on a rag to get the goo off.

Haha, my ride home when the bike was new from the dealer, which is only about 7 miles away, is when my left reflector fell off. I remember hearing it and feeling the thump of it going under the bike on the freeway. When I got home I figured out it was a reflector and I immediately pulled off the double sided tape for it and the right reflector w/ tape and stuck them in a bag. They are around here somewhere. If anybody wants to buy one reflector and two double sided pieces of foam tape I will gladly sell them to you. Name your price |

I recommend using the reflective tape and making a band around the fork. They are reflective and that might pass. Quote:

Yep, both of mine fell off before I even noticed they were there. I have seen the later Panigales with zip-tied-on reflectors, so the dealers must be aware of it. As far as removing them, they peel right off (the black sticky foam), and as stated earlier, a little WD-40 will clean off any residue left behind.

I got a fix it ticket for missing front reflectors by by the local police department on my R1. I went to autozone to buy some reflectors and double sided tape because i procrastinated until the last day before i was to show up at the police station, but the store clerk told me to use amber tape because he gotten a ticket for the same thing and thats what he did. So i did and went to the police station they signed it off and I didnt have to pay anything but if I would of missed the date or not correct the so called problem it's was going to be $250. Tape was removed when I got back home.
