Exhaust Valve 1199S VS tri color

is both the 1199s and tri color got the servo control exhaust valve?
i heard that tri color got the servo, but the wire is not connected to the valve which means the valve is all time open?

1) if yes, is it because of the different exhaust?
2) what is the exhaust different between the tri color and the S version
3) what happen if i install the tri color computer program to a standard exhaust

the reason i am thinking about it, is because i found the valve is sometime close (i feel it seems sucked) during low rpm and low speed, but it suddenly open roughly when it reach a certain RPM
but i dont feel same issue in my friends tri color

Peter all models of Panigale are the same in the engine and exhaust department for the relevant market. Only thing with the TRI is it actually comes with included in the purchase price a 2nd exhaust kit(slip-ons). Only other differences on the bikes is wheels and Ohlins suspension. Has your friend had his exhaust kit fitted? and you are right the valve does close at certain revs, bike runs quietly then surges when it re-opens. Maybe your friend has his valve permanently open.

my 1199s and my friends tri color got same wheels and suspension
the different is tri color got the slip on exhaust and the data log
just checked that his bikes's butterfly valve got no servo wire connected, i.e. always 100% open, but my 1199s is comes along a servo connected butterfly valve

a few days ago, i remove the servo cable and the valve is 100% open all time, surprisingly the bike is smoother ......
