I purchased my Panigale "S" with ABS from our Ducati Dealer - Ducati Manila just last May 9, 2012...I have been getting some misting/fogging "in" my dash panel... This happens when I ride my bike in normal warm weather conditions always. Happens too when we do get drenched in the rain while riding. Most, if not all my buddies who have Panigales have the same Problem here in the Philippines. The whole portion of the center part of the Dash panel gets misty/foggy that it becomes so annoying and unreadable. I have reported this to our dealer and he has had many complaints too from other owners with the same problem. Ducati Italy has been informed of our problem...and they are wondering why we have such problems. Incidentally, even the owner of the Dealership- Ducati Manila has his own Panigale "S" which he races in our local nationals... has the same problem too, of the dash Panel Misting up or fogging. I'm having my Dash replaced. Part is on order already. I have 4,000kms on my bike...With a new instrument panel...my odometer will be back to Zero. I will have to record my original mileage. I'm wondering why this has happened? Any of you guys heard of this kind of problems? Thanks, Miguel Manila, Philippines |

Mine misted at the weekend. A couple of mins in the sunshine (Yeah, we actually had some at the weekend) and it sorted itself. |

I'm sure you are already aware of this but the 1098 used to do this all the time! When I had mine it was replaced under warranty but even the brand new replacement did the same! I had no such problem with my 1198SP and so far, the Panigale is fine. Hope it all works out with the new one.

I had the same problem but the "fogging" was constant and certainly did not clear up. Got a new one fitted and it works a dream now. Mileage is back to Zero but the dealership has noted the original mileage on the Log Book. All is Sweet - Keep Smilin |

Mine is doing the same, may just deal with it rather than replace it as its not that bad.

This has been covered by an old thread... Even in uk this happens, is a warranty job. Just a pain in the arse re the mileage hence I still haven't had mine exchanged yet!
